Who is responsible?
atlantictrip.ca/ is published by Harimanitra Rasamimanana in Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada, who is responsible for personal information. Questions: bonjour@atlantictrip.ca.
What we collect
- If you email us: your address and message, used only to reply. We don’t sell or share them.
- Server logs: like any website, our host records technical data (IP address, browser, pages requested, date and time) for security and to keep the site running. These logs are kept for a limited time.
- Comments: comments are turned off on this site.
What we don’t do
- No targeted advertising or ad tracking.
- Our theme doesn’t include any third-party analytics. If we add one, this page will be updated before it goes live and, where required, we’ll ask for your consent.
- Fonts are hosted on our own server: no request is sent to Google Fonts or any other external service when pages load.
Cookies
This site only uses technical cookies:
- a language cookie (pll_language), set by our multilingual plugin, that remembers whether you chose English or French;
- the WordPress cookies needed for site administrators to log in.
None of these cookies track you across other websites.
External links and third-party content
Our articles link to official websites (tourism offices, Parks Canada, ferries and so on), which have their own privacy policies. Photos are served from our own server, not loaded from Wikimedia Commons.
Hosting
The site is hosted in Canada by a professional web host. Data travelling to and from the site is protected by an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to you (Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, Québec’s Law 25 or the EU’s GDPR), you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information and withdraw your consent. Email us at the address above and we’ll respond within 30 days. You can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or Québec’s Commission d’accès à l’information.
