Who’s behind Atlantic Trip?
Atlantic Trip is an independent project created by Hari (Harimanitra Rasamimanana), who lives in Edmundston, New Brunswick — the gateway to Atlantic Canada when you drive in from Québec.
The idea is simple: there’s plenty of travel information about Atlantic Canada, but it’s scattered across provincial tourism sites, Parks Canada, ferry operators and municipalities. Atlantic Trip brings it together, checks it and organizes it into practical guides — in French for travellers from Québec, Acadia and Europe, and in English for visitors from Ontario, the US, the UK and beyond.
Our method
Every guide follows the same rules:
- Official sources first. Distances, schedules, opening dates and regulations are checked against the organizations that publish them: provincial tourism offices, Parks Canada, Sépaq, NB Parks, ferry and bridge operators, UNESCO. Every article ends with its list of sources.
- A visible “updated” date. Conditions change from season to season, so each article shows when it was last reviewed.
- No made-up experiences. We don’t publish fake reviews or fictional anecdotes. When a tip is our judgment rather than a sourced fact, we say so.
- Careful with prices and times. Rates change often, so we link to the official source rather than publish a number that will go stale.
- Quick corrections. Spot something wrong or out of date? Let us know — we’ll fix it and update the review date.
Independence and transparency
Atlantic Trip isn’t affiliated with any tourism board, hotel or tour operator. No article is sponsored and no link is paid at this time. If that ever changes (affiliate links, partnerships), it will be clearly disclosed on the pages concerned.
